Fine Free Cards

Kids & Teens are FINE FREE!

Sherrard Library is excited announce that patrons under 18 years are now FINE FREE!  In other words, there are no fees for overdue items.  We get it, life happens!  Book got shoved under your car's passenger's seat?  Couldn't find the DVD in time (HOW did it get in the fridge?!)?  Just plain forgot?  It happens to the best of us!  Return your items when you can, and continue to focus on the big stuff in life.

Please keep in mind the following:

• Patrons under 18 may still use their card at any PrairieCat library, or other institutions that accept reciprocal borrowers.  However, materials borrowed from other libraries will incur the owning library's fine.  Fine free privileges are only in effect for Sherrard Library materials.
• Items that are long overdue will be automatically billed to the patron, unless returned.
• Patrons are still responsible for the cost of lost or damaged items.
• Juvenile patrons may check out 3 DVD's and Video Games at the same time.
• Juvenile patrons may not check out Community Passes.
• Items checked out prior to the fine free program will still incur fines, and fines on patron cards previous to the program are still in effect.
