Main Library: Mon-Fri 10am-8pm; Sat 9am-noon

Mobile Branch is suspended for the Winter months.

Sherrard PLD will offer alternative options for program opportunities when necessitated due to structural limitations. Participants should contact the library at least 24hrs in advance of the scheduled event to make arrangements for an alternate but equal experience.

What Is It?

The Sherrard Public Library District is a taxpayer supported public library district established in 1981, serving approximately 7,200 patrons. The Sherrard Public Library District encompasses a largely rural area, including the communities of Sherrard, Preemption, Swedona, Matherville, Boden, Cable, and Coyne Center.

Where Is It?

Do I live in the Sherrard Public Library District? – People often ask this question because of the peculiar boundaries, originally encompassing the Sherrard School District before the merger with New Windsor and Viola.
