The Fall season is a great time to visit your library! Get cozy with our Warm Up Wednesdays, a drop-in hour featuring warm drinks while you read the paper, or learn a new skill at In-Person Cross Stitch for adults.
Families can join us for read-aloud stories and crafts at Little Sprouts Storytime (toddlers through age 12 - perfect for homeschool families). With a small group setting, your child can build the confidence to interact with their peers. Other benefits include building listening skills, expanding vocabulary, broadening imagination and expression, and so much more!
Storytime reading also counts toward your 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten progress. This initiative is simple: read to your child, track books, and earn prizes for your little! Studies show that children should hear at least 1,000 books from birth to age 5 to build the pre-reading skills they need to succeed in school. Visit the front desk for instructions and reading logs to get started!
