NEW FRIDAY HOURS!
Sherrard Library has NEW FRIDAY HOURS beginning Friday, Feb 6th
Fridays | Open 10 AM - 4:30 PM

From the Director's Desk:

Join Sherrard Library for crafts, storytime and more!  This month, the library offers a variety of take home or in-person crafts.  Adults who attend these in-person crafts, including Art Junk Journals and Beginner-Friendly Crochet, will have the option to attend VIP ("Very Important Projects") follow up classes to help you further your skills.

Families should also check out our Little Sprouts Storytime, which features read aloud stories, crafts, and surprises in a small group setting where your child can build the confidence to interact with their peers.  Other benefits of storytime include building social and listening skills, expanding vocabulary, and developing fine motor skills through crafts.

Teens (ages 16-18) who are interested in a library career may apply to Job Shadow a Librarian on Tuesday, April 21st from 3-4:30 PM!  During this time, participants will learn basic library circulation functions and receive information about library careers!  Applications open on February 24th.  To apply, teens must email a completed application form (also available at the library's front desk), which features an essay prompt.  The submission deadline is March 25th, and all applicants will receive a response with their selection status.  Applicants who have participated in the Job Shadow a Librarian program previously are not eligible.

Registration for February programs opens January 16th at 10 AM
